We’ve done it. Actually, this time. 27 days of cycling, 2,700km and 22,000 meters climbed, we’ve made it to Cape Soya, the northernmost point in Japan.
Hokkaido saved its best day for last: clear skies, light winds (for northern Hokkaido at least), and visibility across to Sakhalin (eastern Russia) even further north.
Thank you for following along with our journey, and to everyone who has supported in so many ways. Especially to the team on the ground: Tom, Trent and Kaz, who have kept me company on this marathon adventure across Japan.
Now to enjoy Tokyo for a couple of days, before heading back to the UK. Here’s to the next adventure.
